Method of use:

1) operation to hemostasis hemostat before, will be removed by packing bag.

2) the catheter sheath outside exit 2-3cm.

3) the compression hemostat cushion center point alignment puncture point.

4) the Velcro strap around the wrist fixed plate side after passing through the end hole tightened and fixed.

5) clockwise rotation of the rotary handle around 5 laps, the puncture point ofpressure balance, confirm the hemostat after removal of catheter sheath, stable,and quickly to rotate clockwise rotating handle until the puncture point not oozing of blood pressure.

6) done after every half hour, anticlockwise rotation of the rotary handle half to 1 rings of gradual decompression. If the re emergence of bleeding, then re pressureuntil the bleeding stops.

7) after hemostasis, use saline gauze dressing wetting and remove the hemostat.

The matters needing attention:

1) due to patient body condition and suitable compression strength of different sizes, may the hemostatic process occurs as the artery occlusion, subcutaneous hematoma, limb numbness, pain, bleeding and other phenomena, please checkand adjust the compression strength of hemostasis.

2) the use of the process if there is red, swelling, heat, pain and other allergic anddiscomfort, please discontinue use immediately and properly handle.

3) do not excessive force oppression of the product, to avoid product damage.

4) this product has been sterilized epoxy ethane, the package is damaged or incomplete do not use.

5) the effective period of this product sterilization for two years, please use thefailure before the date.

6) the product is disposable, and discarded after use, must not be reused.

7) can not be repeated sterilization.

This is a compression device to assist hemostasis of the radial artery after a transradial procedure.
 
 
Precautions & warnings
 
* This device is suitable for patients whose wrist circumference is 140-240mm

* The medical staff should keep the patients wrist straight and the patient should avoid strenuous activity of the arm when this device is used .After the procedure the patient should refrain from bending the wrist for 2 hours or move the wrist for 4-6hours.

* Depending on the patient’s condition and the degree of cushion pressure, an adverse event including artery occlusion,hypodermic haematoma, haemorrhage, pain, or numbness may occur, check the progress of the haemostasis and adjust the pressure accordingly by turning the turn cap.

* Patient should not be left unattended while this device is in use

* If there is itching or redness of the skin while compressiong, stop using and treat appropriately.

* This device should be used immediately after opening the package .Don’t turn the turn cap excessively in order to avoid stick fast or screw loose.

* Do not use this device if unit package or the device has been damage or soiled .Disposed of safely and properly as medical rubbish after used.

* Do not soak or wipe with agents containing organic solvents. Such agents may cause damage to this device.

* Ethylene Oxide sterilized, for single use only, do not re-sterilized or reuse. Re-sterilize or reuse may bring infection.

* Avoid exposure to water, direct sunlight, extreme temperature, or high humidity during storage.
